The site lies in the south of Leeds city centre. It contains the old The Calls Street, and a couple of courtyards within the new residential settlement. The river pass by the south end of the courtyards.

Highlight the local character: enhance distinctive streetscape; preserve the old building style and continuity;

Create places for activities: separation and connection of private space and public realm; places for meeting or other social activities; places for individual relax
